We are an Auckland based building company who specialises in high-end residential renovations. We listen to our client’s renovation dreams and aspirations and transform them into a reality. C&C Renovations is run by Chris & Cam (hence the name C&C), who both steady the ship from different angles. Our professional, experienced team work collaboratively with clients and architects to ensure every project is as stress-free as possible and we are committed to making sure every detail is taken care of. Our approach is structured to take all the stress away from the clients. We believe realising your renovation dream should be an exciting process and we work to ensure the process is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
OUR STORY
Our business was originally established by Cam in 2009 as Elite Building & Landscapes. With Cam’s love for the building & landscaping process, the growing company prospered and the business earnt itself a proud reputation in the industry. In 2017 Chris returned to NZ to settle down after 5 years abroad & found himself working for Cam within weeks of landing. The pair actually met through the sale of a trusty Toyota Hilux through a mutual acquaintance. Chris & Cam immediately gelled and formed a duo that continued creating dream homes and landscaping with distinctive and impressive design & build features. Fast forward to 2020 & C&C Renovations was born. Chris and Cam have officially teamed up to take their vast experience in the building industry to a whole new level. With our growing building team of eight strong and a wealth of proven subcontractors at hand, there’s no renovation challenge our team can’t tackle. Working with innovative architects & clients to realise their dreams is our passion and we thrive on delivering our clients with successful outcomes for challenging projects. MEET OUR TEAM
Cameron Smith
Registered Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) With 25+ years building experience in Auckland. Born and raised in Auckland, Cam is a mastermind when it comes to renovations.
His relaxed mindset and approach to life mean there is nothing but good vibes on every site Cam is on. Cam is the heart of the team and culture at C&C. He gets the best out of people on site which results in successful projects and stunning homes that our clients are proud to call their own. When not renovating a client’s dream home, you’ll find Cam out and about with his family or on the water, fishing or surfing.
Chris Sweeney
Chris is a registered Licensed Building Practitioner (LPB) with 12 years building experience.
Born in Hamilton, Chris grew up on a farm and finished a building apprenticeship after completing school. He then headed to London for 4 years to work on the 2012 Olympic site, creating the BBC media centre. In London, Chris also worked on high-end residential builds before moving to Amsterdam where working on 300-year-old sunken canal houses became the norm.
Since then, he and Cam have been renovating their way through Auckland with some amazing projects. Chris is the innovator & always loves the challenge of coming up with a way to create something from nothing. Chris is a very technical builder and his accurate, detail-focused approach leaves clients full of praise.
When not on a building site, you’ll find sports-mad Chris catching up on sport or chasing a white ball around the golf course as well as enjoying precious family time.
